Aquaman: Born with the curse of the yellow hair as a child he was sent to deadman's reef.  It was there that he met a light keeper named Arthur Curry who showed him the way of the Surface dwellers.  Finding himself in the oldman, Orin of Atlantis went on to become both a hero of his homeland of Atlantis, as well as of the surface.

Tempest: Once known as Aqualad, Garth, became a hero even stepping out of the shadows of Aquaman.  A man with exceptional abilities both as a meta human, and as a Mystic.  Garth lives in Atlantis with his wife Dolphin, and his best Friend King Orin.
